LPA is proud to partner with Longevity Nation 2026, co-organized by Vetek (Seniority) Association and the International Longevity Alliance, taking place at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, on 23–24 November 2026. LPA will be represented by its directors, Niccolò Invidia and Dr. Ilia Stambler.
LPA and International Longevity Alliance Hold European Parliament Conference on Healthy Ageing and Longevity
Hosted by MEP Valentina Palmisano and organized by LPA together with the International Longevity Alliance, the conference held at the European Parliament on October 1, 2026 brought together policymakers, European Commission representatives, researchers and longevity advocates to discuss the need for a more coordinated European approach to healthy ageing.
The need to increase support for healthy ageing and longevity research in the EU by establishing a Coordination and Support Programme on Healthy Ageing and Longevity
Open-access paper in Mechanisms of Ageing and Development (Vol. 231). Europe faces rapidly accelerating population ageing, driving multimorbidity and unsustainable healthcare costs. The authors — led by Ilia Stambler — call for the establishment of an EU Coordination and Support Programme on Healthy Ageing and Longevity to integrate research, innovation, regulation, and capacity-building across Member States.

LPA is proud to announce two strategic partnerships strengthening its international policy network. The International Longevity Alliance (ILA) is a global federation of organizations and individuals advancing healthy longevity through research, advocacy, and public engagement. Vetek — the Movement for Longevity and Quality of Life — brings decades of experience in promoting healthy ageing policies, intergenerational solidarity, and longevity research in Israel. Together, these partnerships expand LPA's reach across the global longevity policy ecosystem.
